29 August 2005 Entry: "Heading home"

Can't believe no other twiglets have done a diary entry since my last one! Please excuse any typos. I am doing this on a computer in Dusseldorf airport on my way home from South Africa and the kezboard is slightlz different (as you can see, the z and y and the other way round.)
I have had a great three weeks doing the usual travelling and visiting family, although we were in new parts of South Africa this time, close to the Maluti Mountains near Lesotho. It is such a vast and varied country. Even in one day of driving you can go from cold with snow on the mountains to almost tropical conditions on the coast.
I have done very little writing, although quite a lot of reading, including The Good Doctor by Damon Golgut to get in the travel mood (he is South African and the story is set there). But who knows, I have another three hours to wait for my flight to Newcastle so I might do some writing, if I can force mzself to keep checking the spelling.
